Boise Mayor Lauren McLean has chosen the newest Boise City Council members.
After reviewing the applications of fifty-four Boiseans who applied for one of two Boise City Council vacancies, the mayor has chosen Latonia Haney Keith to fill the remainder of the term for District 3 and Colin Nash for the at-large seat.
Latonia Haney Keith currently serves on the senior leadership team of The College of Idaho as Vice President of High Impact Practices, is a graduate of Harvard Law School, and is chair of Boise’s CCDC board.
Colin Nash is an attorney who has been twice elected to represent Boise’s West Bench in the Idaho Legislature.
The City Council will take up the appointments at a Special Council Meeting to be held at noon on Thursday (April 6).
