The Idaho Transportation Department will begin repaving a busy stretch of Highway 55, which may lead to some delays for drivers.
Road crews will repave a six-mile stretch south of Cascade, repairing cracks, potholes and uneven surfaces.
Additionally, construction will level out steep approaches and add a pavement apron to all roads and driveways connecting to the highway.
Drivers could see up to 15-minute delays Monday through Friday through late October. Weekend traffic will not be affected.
ITD tells CBS 2 News, the maintenance will help improve safety and driving comfort for both Valley County residents and travelers.
