“Shoshone Falls After Dark” returns this week with bigger flows and lights at night.
Southern Idaho Tourism will illuminate Shoshone Falls until 11 each night, and the water will be flowing harder both during the day and night.
Renowned as the “Niagara of the West,” Shoshone Falls stands 212 feet tall, which is
36 feet higher than Niagara Falls.
Shoshone Falls will open for ticketed entry June 3-12 with these bigger flows reaching about 1,000 cubic feet per second which will make the lights brighter and put water on the right side of the falls.
This year’s Shoshone Falls After Dark will immerse visitors in lights, music, and the natural beauty of Shoshone Falls.
