Changes are coming to the Mountain West Conference.
The conference says it will be eliminating its two-division format in football — leaving the two teams with the highest conference winning percentage to instead play in the championship game.
The changes will come for the 2023 football season.
Boise State athletic director Jeramiah Dickey said the university overwhelmingly supports the move.
