Heads up! A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect for the Boise Mountains thru 5pm on Saturday.
The National Weather Service explains, a series of storms will be moving thru the area between now and Tuesday, bringing rain and snow to the Treasure Valley, but heavy snow the the mountains.
The big question is, will we have snow in the Treasure Valley?
The answer to that question seems to be “maybe” as there is a chance for snow on Friday as temperatures drop.
However, the mountains will undoubtedly see heavy snow at times making travel difficult over those mountain passes for people heading to and from holiday destinations.
