In order for kids to get an education in the public school system, teachers are needed. But as schools are now learning, sometimes it’s not easy to get a teacher in the classroom.
The Nampa School District is dealing with a substitute teacher shortage.
In a document that will be presented to the school board this evening, the district is reporting a 15-18% shortage of substitute teachers.
For the week of December 6th, the district needed 684 substitutes and had just 578.
