Man arrested in Utah wanted in Nampa murder investigation

A warrant has been issued for man in custody in Utah for the second-degree murder of a man in Nampa.

On Tuesday, Nampa Police says it issued the arrest warrant for Christopher Williams of Philadelphia.

James Chantz of Nampa, died after he was shot on Sept. 16th.

Williams was later found in Box Elder County in Utah and taken into custody on unrelated charges.

Williams’ bond has been set at $5 million.
