Judge in Lori Vallow Daybell case wants progress report on her treatment

Lori Vallow Daybell continues to be unfit for trial after a status hearing today (on Monday).

District Judge Steven Boyce said he received two letters from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare from Daybell’s treating physician requesting an extension of Lori’s commitment with the state, however, the correspondence “would not rise to the level of being a progress report.”

CBS2 reports the judge would like an official progress report on Daybell before an extension of commitment would be considered. All parties agreed.

Lori and her husband Chad Daybell are facing numerous charges, including murder and conspiracy to commit murder, for the deaths of JJ Vallow, Tylee Ryan and Tammy Daybell.

Another status hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 8.
