The Boise Parks and Recreation team is hosting a variety of classes, camps, and volunteer opportunities in the coming months. Registration for all ages opens Monday, August 23 for Boise residents and Wednesday, August 25 for non-residents.
Our programs will continue to focus on increased health and safety protocols. In line with current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance, face coverings are required indoors at City of Boise facilities for the health and safety of all participants. Our team is hosting classes, camps, and volunteer activities outside whenever possible.
“This time last year, we were entering an uncertain fall season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fast forward to the fall of 2021 and we continue to innovate by adding outdoor classes, new camps and activities and more to keep the whole family engaged,” said Boise Parks and Recreation Director Doug Holloway. “The health and safety of our staff and participants is always our top priority and we will continue to consult with state and local health officials in the coming months to keep our community safe.”
Due to a nationwide issue with supply chain and logistics, we are experiencing a delay in the printing and arrival of our 2021 Fall Activity Guide. The online version of the fall guide is available on our website via links below in both interactive and PDF versions (the PDF can be printed if you prefer a hard copy). Estimated delivery of the guide is Monday, August 30.
