Once again – our Air Quality in the Treasure Valley is not ideal.
The Boise Air Quality index (or AQI) shows we will once again be in the Moderate – or Yellow Category.
AQair.com reports, the AQI in Boise is around 100 today, much better than the Red or Unhealthy category – which is where we were when the smoke was so bad here in Boise at the end of last week.
The smoky skies are expected to be caused by a plethora of fires — from North Idaho, British Columbia, Oregon and California.
HOWEVER – If the wind blows the right direction, smoke could be pushed out leaving clear skies.
