Idaho posts 754 new COVID cases on Tuesday

We have been telling you about elevated COVID numbers in Idaho or the past few weeks.

On Tuesday – the state of Idaho reported more than 750 cases of COVID-19 — the highest single-day tally in months.

Health officials reported 754 confirmed and probable cases on Tuesday. The day before, there were 626 new cases.

There were two additional deaths also reported – bringing that total up to 2,226 since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to the latest state hospitalization data, there are about 74 patients hospitalized throughout the state along with 33 in an intensive care unit.
