If you’re in need of work and want to help with the state’s historic fire season, you could be in luck.
The Idaho Department of Lands says it’s looking to hire 10 truck drivers and 20 warehouse workers in the Coeur d’Alene Interagency Fire Cache.
These are temporary positions that will pay almost $17 an hour with overtime potential. The hours will be 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. six days a week with one scheduled day off a week.
Wildland firefighting qualifications are not required and you don’t need a CDL licence either.
The state says, there is an urgent need for workers.
