Boise School District printing error on absentee ballot envelope

The Boise School District will mail new absentee ballots to approximately 28-thousand registered voters who had an absentee ballot request filed with Ada County.

A printing error was detected on the absentee ballot’s return envelope.

The INCORRECT return envelope has an empty square where a barcode label should be.

Any absentee ballots received by the Boise School District, in this envelope, will NOT be opened and will be deemed invalid.

Wednesday the correct absentee ballots will be mailed.

The CORRECT ballot return envelope has no square, instead there are spaces for printed name, date, and signature of elector.

The last day for requesting a mail-in absentee ballot is August 20th.

Early Voting has begun at the District Service Center and will end August 28th.

The Boise School District will only have nine Polling Locations for the September 1st, Trustee election.
