Hayden (670 KBOI News) – We know a little more about the man murdered early Sunday outside a bar in Hayden.
According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the victim has been identified as 45-year old Michael Christopher Clark, who went by the nickname “Topher”.
He was the subject of the 2014 movie “Kid Cannabis”, about two men in Coeur d’Alene who smuggled marijuana from Canada into Idaho.
The Sheriff’s Office is reporting Clark got into an argument inside the Tipsy Pine Bar, with a man identified as Scott White of Coeur d’Alene.
The two men went out to the parking lot, where Clark was shot…a witness held White at gunpoint until deputies got there.
The investigation continues, and results from the autopsy, which was held today, have not yet been released.
