Las Vegas (670 KBOI News) – Idahoans who may attended last year’s Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, the scene of the worst mass shooting in American history, have less than a month to apply to get help from the state of Nevada.

About 100 tickets were sold to Idahoans for last year’s festival, where 58 people were killed and hundreds wounded in the shooting.

The State of Nevada is offering services through the Nevada Victims of Crime Program. Counseling and other services are available to people who attended the event, regardless of where they live, or where they were during the attack.

But the deadline is running out. Victims have until October 1st to submit an application for help. The Nevada Department of Administration is encouraging everyone who was there to submit an application, even if they don’t think they need help now.

Of the 100 or so tickets to the Route 91 Harvest Festival that were sold in Idaho, only 13 people have come forward so far. If you’d like to fill out an application for benefits, call (833) 299-2433, or go to www.VegasStrongRC.org.
