Boise (670 KBOI News) – A man is in the Ada County Jail in connection with a drive-by shooting in West Boise early this morning.
It happened near the corner of Fairview and Mitchell. About 5:30, witness say a man fired several shots in the direction of a group of people. The same suspect also reportedly drove his car at one of the people in the group, forcing that person to jump out of the way to avoid being hit.
Officers were able to find the suspect a few miles away in Meridian. Cody Wentworth was arrested and booked into the Jail…he’s being held on two felony counts of Aggravated Assault.
No one was hurt in the attack, and police says they didn’t find any damage from the gunfire.
