A 19-year-old Nampa man was arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual exploitation of a child.
The Idaho Press Tribune reports, police received information in February that Jalen Kotts allegedly had sexual contact and exchanged sexually explicit images of a victim.
Police ensured the victim’s safety and later found Kotts on March 1 while responding to an unrelated incident involving a fight at a house on North Roosevelt Street.
Kotts is charged with one felony count of rape and two felony counts of sexual exploitation of a child and was booked into the Ada County Jail.
His next court appearance is set for March 16 at the Ada County Courthouse.
