Meridian Police say they arrested a Mountain View High School teacher after they gathered evidence of a sexual relationship between a teacher and a student.
Police say Rebecca Mason-Cales of Boise was arrested for sexual battery of a minor.
According to the police, Mason-Cales had a relationship with a 17-year-old male student. They say the relationship began in August of 2017.
The West Ada School District received an anonymous email describing a possible sexual relationship between the Mountain View High School two.
Meridian Police Department was contacted and immediately launched an investigation.
KBOI-2-TV reports, Police do not believe there are any other victims at this time.
Mason-Cales was a German and History teacher and was booked into Ada County Jail on six counts of Sexual Battery of a Minor Child police say.
