Scan, Bag, Go shopping technology will be introduced in 26 Fred Meyer stores this year.
What is Scan, Bag, Go technology? It’s a handheld scanner or mobile app that allows customers to scan and bag products as they shop.
KBOI-2-TV reports, customers can also view and download coupons on the app, as well as keep a running total of their order, and view the current week’s sales ad.
Fred Meyer says customers will soon have the ability to provide payment directly through the app, allowing shoppers to exit the store even quicker.
