Firetruck Gets Stuck in Sinkhole Near Boise State

Ada County Dispatchers are telling everyone to steer clear of the area around University Drive and South Lincoln Avenue, while crews handle a flooded street.

Dispatchers say a fire engine got stuck inside of a sinkhole that formed in the middle of the road when a water main broke.

KBOI-2-TV reports, nobody was hurt.

Boise State University sent a Bronco Alert to students, warning them of a main break. The alert told students to stay away from the area until further notice.

The university says students can report nearby flooding by calling (208)426-6911. No nearby building are taking on water.

Fire officials say they expect the intersection to be closed for the next several days.
