Bridge Construction To Start In November

Construction is scheduled to start in November on a bridge that will connect Warm Springs Avenue to Marianne Williams Park.

Currently, the only ways into the park are by the East Parkcenter Boulevard Bridge and the Boise River Greenbelt.

The bridge will accommodate car, bicycle and foot traffic, and it’s total anticipated cost is a little over 1.46 million dollars.

The Idaho Statesman confirms, the Brighton Corporation is covering half of that cost.

Including a new entrance sign and other fees, the total project expense on behalf of the city will be 909 thousand dollars.

Project completion is scheduled for summer 2018.
