Dutch Bros Coffee is voluntarily recalling eclipse glasses, that were given out at several stands over the weekend.
KBOI-2-TV reports, the company purchased the glasses after the manufacturer gave them a certification of ISO compliance.
If you recieved a pair of the glasses, the company says you should not use them to watch the solar eclipse. Customers can return the glasses to the location where they received them. Customers will get a free drink of their choice, “any drink, any size.”
Viewing the solar eclipse without proper eye protection can cause permanent damage to your eyes. What’s more, ophthalmologists say you probably won’t feel pain, or notice the damage until days after the eclipse.
If you are in the path of totality, You can take the glasses off for a quick peek during totality. Otherwise, you will need to keep the glasses on the entire time you view the eclipse.
