Caldwell Police Arrest Sergio Lopez

A second arrest was made in Caldwell following a fight at party last weekend, resulting in one person being stabbed and shots fired toward the person who is suspected of doing the stabbing.

According to the Idaho Statesman, Caldwell Police went to a house on Dandridge Way about 2 a.m. Sunday after receiving a report of shots fired. They learned that the fight had involved people at the party and that a man had been stabbed who is a documented member of the West Side Loma gang.

On Sunday, Sergio Lopez was arrested by Caldwell Police. They believe he stabbed the person at the party and that is was gang related.

And now, Moises Ortiz of Nampa, has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and unlawful discharge of a weapon.

Lopez and Ortiz remain in custody and await trial.
