State Representative and assistant House minority leader, Ilana Rubel is recovering from serious burns she suffered last week.
The Idaho Statesman reports, Rubel suffered second- and third-degree burns in the accident, which occurred at her home last week while she was cooking with hot oil that caught fire.
She has since been released from the hospital, and is now recovering at home.
Rubel received burns on her face, neck, arms, hands and chest and expects to be recovered in four to six weeks.
