Ugh, politics. So much politics. When Republicans won the House, Senate and the White House you might think the number of ugly political stories would subside. Clearly, that is not the case. President Trump does not need people questioning his truthfulness or credibility, and even the most conservative of conservatives will not come to his aid on this story.
Let’s be honest for a minute. I am here to tell you is, it’s real fun to watch excellent reporters ask difficult questions to the White House Press Secretary at the daily briefings. Even SNL has picked up on how entertaining these daily briefings are. If you have not yet seen Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer, you are missing out on some great comedy.
As the local (self proclaimed) Oakland Raiders expert in Boise, I want to be the first to say I think the Raiders will be in Las Vegas very soon. This has been my position for some time and it is unchanged. I was asked while filling in on KTIK last week to discuss this topic, and my answer is very strait forward. Where is there more money to be made, Oakland or Las Vegas? The answer is Las Vegas. NFL owners love to make money, so I think this is an open and shut case.
I’ll be participating in a Fantasy Baseball Draft this Sunday with some of my friends from the Idaho Statesman and other Radio Geeks like myself. Last year I loaded up on pitchers and landed just enough hitters to be dangerous. This year, I’m not as sure about my strategy. I would bet my bottom dollar the Cubs will win 100 games, so I’m looking to find the right guys from that roster to grab without overreaching.
