The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office says the search is on for two inmates after they escaped the tent structure of the Canyon County Detention Center Saturday night.
The two men, identified as Jeffrey Duval and Juan Cervantes, were last seen on Chicago Street in Caldwell, traveling eastbound on foot.
Both inmates were in custody on felony probation violations by the Idaho Department of Corrections.
This is the fourth incident of an inmate escaping the tent facility of the detention center. The most recent escape happened in early August.
The men escaped around 10:30 p.m., but the circumstances involving the escape is under investigation.
The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to contact their local law enforcement if you’ve seen them or know where they might be headed.
