
One of the suspects in a brutal beating that left a man dead in Nampa appeared in court July 25th.
21-year-old Kevin Tracy of Nampa was indicted on charges of 1st degree murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Tracy and 3 other men are accused of arranging to meet 49-year-old Steven Nelson near Lake Lowell in April for sex but instead they beat Nelson, stripped him naked, and stole his car.
Nelson was able to get help and tell police what happened before he died.
The Idaho Press-Tribune reports, in court Tracy had his pre-trial conference postponed while attorneys wait to receive more evidence.
He’ll be back in court on August 22nd.
