The four men suspected of robbing and beating Steven Nelson on April 29th near Lake Lowell have been indicted after a Grand Jury reviewed the case.
Kelly Schneider, Jayson Woods,Daniel Henkel, and Kevin Tracy are now charged with felony conspiracy to commit robbery on top of their existing charges of first-degree murder and robbery.
The Idaho Statesman reports, the indictments mean the four won’t have preliminary hearings and will next be arraigned in Canyon County 3rd District Court.
Along with being brutally beaten, Steven Nelson was stripped naked and left near death in the Lake Lowell area. Nelson was able to crawl to a neighborhood and call for help, and was able to tell police what happened before later dying at a local hospital.
