Boise River Flow to Increase

If you have been waiting until the Boise River calms down a little before you get in the water, you will be waiting a little longer now.

Flows will increase to about 3,000 cubic feet per second to allow for more room in the reservoir for the melting snow and more rain.

Officials say you need to take care near the water as the river is already running cold and fast, and increased flows will make it even more dangerous.
