The Ada County Courthouse…you bought it, you own it, and now it’s time to see what’s really behind all that brick and glass. Spokeswoman Kate McGwire says Saturday from noon ’til 3:00, the Courthouse will be open to to the public, so you can see parts of the building most of us never do.
“Like the Courthouse jail, that’s in the basement…I have to tell you from personal experience, it’s pretty fascinating,” said McGwire. “Also, we’ll take people to the jury commissioner’s room, and explain what happens if they’re selected for a jury and go through the whole process.”
Outside, there will be cool rappelling demonstrations by the Ada County paramedics, and the Sheriff’s Office will have SWAT vehicles on display.
