Former Boise State offensive lineman Daryn Colledge made millions of dollars in the NFL and won a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers. Colledge WAS retired and living a comfortable life in Boise, but made a decision Tuesday that will change all that.
Colledge was sworn into the U.S. Army National Guard for an eight-year commitment.
Colledge says, it’s something he has been wanting to do for some time. The first six years of his agreement he will be on active duty and the last two will be in the reserves. He says his goal is to be a Black Hawk crew chief.
