A former Spanish teacher at Skyview High School who admitted to having sex with a student has been sentenced.
28-year-old Tomas Fisher admitted to police that he had unprotected sex with a girl two to three times a week over about a month and half.
According to a probable-cause affidavit, Fisher knew what he was doing was wrong and it should never have happened.
KBOI 2 TV reports, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison, but must serve at least 3 before being eligible for parole.
The victim’s family is also planning on suing him, the school and the district.
