A detention deputy was arrested for domestic battery, false imprisonment and attempted strangulation.
Meridian Police say Troy Eisele was detained following an altercation with a woman he lived with on the 1500 block of West Arch Rock Street.
No details are available about the altercation that led to the deputy’s arrest. However, we do know Eisele had been a detention deputy for Ada County Jail and is now on administrative leave pending an investigation.
