One man is dead, another is behind bars following a shooting overnight.
Boise Police say officers responded to a report of shots fired around 9PM to the Boise Depot.
Lt. Bryan Hagler explains what they found, “Officers quickly arrived and found a 21-year-old Boise man with a single gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was immediately transported to the hospital, but sadly he died from his injuries.”
The man killed has been identified as 21-year-old Zacheriah Peterson of Boise.
Police have since arrested 24-year-old Brandon Bahr of Boise. Bahr was arraigned in court Thursday on charges of 1st degree murder, use of a deadly weapon in a crime, aggravated assault, and grand theft.
Police say they are still investigating.
