Governor Otter has called in the Idaho National Guard to help fight fires in Idaho.
The first stop for the Idaho National Gaurd will be to help with the Clearwater Complex fires burning in the northen part of the state near Kamiah.
Equipment will also be sent, including the use of a FireHawk helicopter, equipped with a 1,000-gallon water tank to help fire supression efforts.
