UPDATE: The 5-year old boy who was involved in a strange car accident over the weekend had died.
ISP confirms today, 5 year old, Carter Atwood succomed to his injuries.
Ronald Morgenthaler was on Highway 52 near Emmett hauling two pallets of salt blocks on the flatbed truck. Somehow, several blocks fell off the truck with one of them hitting a pickup driven by Jaeson Atwood. The salt block went through the windshield hitting a passenger, and continued into the back seat, striking the child in the head.
