Meridian Police say a man who attacked a woman in a women’s restroom at a convenience store was probably high on meth at the time.
It happened Monday near the intersection of Ustick and 10-Mile.
A woman went into the restroom and was reportedly attacked by a naked man. She managed to fight him off…her 17 year old son chased him.
Police set up a perimeter, and reports started coming in of a man going into people’s homes, then running off when he was discovered.
Around 7:30, police caught and arrested George Cody Thornrock who is charged with battery with intent to commit a serious felony.
The charge of battery with intent to commit a serious felony carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. Thornock will also face charges for allegedly breaking into homes while trying to avoid police.
