Rumer Willis won Dancing With The Stars last night. Maybe, just maybe, my daughter Natalie had something to do with that. Several years ago my wife Tam brought N’SYNC to Nampa to perform a concert. It was a really big deal at the time, and the show was sold out. There was no place for the Schneiders to sit, so Tam moved us to the back of a truck which was parked right in the middle of the crowd, facing the wrong way.
This gave us an incredible view of the show, and we were alone in the truck, except for Bruce Willis, Demi Moore and their two daughters. Bruce seemed boored, Demi and the kids were fired up. We knew who they were and after a short conversation, kind of just stayed to ourselves.
Demi would have none of that, she came back and got Natalie, and took her up front with the Willis girls. They had a ball, dancing their way through the concert. I’m pretty sure that Rumer picked up some of her winning moves on DWTS from Nat. Just kidding really, but that night was fun and is etched in our family history. Way to go Rumer!
