We were talking the other day about our favorite weather conditions. Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a fan of cold weather. It was chilly the other morning, and we were thinking of warmer climates.
One of my favorite climates is Phoenix in March. The high temperatures are usually 70-85 degrees, and it cools down into the 50’s at night. There is nothing like walking to breakfast with a newspaper under your arm and the sun shining through the palm trees. Love it.
Then there is October in Boise, very close to March in Phoenix. High temperatures usually in the seventies to near 80 with cool evenings. The greatest football weather in the world. My favorite time of the year here is the month of October.
I am fan of warm weather. I love summers here. There is nothing like walking out onto the front porch here at KBOI at seven in the morning when you can start to feel the heat of the day already, and you know that you have an 11 o’clock tee time.
Waking up in the Idaho mountains in summer with the smell of coffee on the fire, and an early morning of fishing also is high on my list.
But the best weather condition for me comes in the month of December when the snow is flying and the roads are covered with ice, and I am stepping off the plane into the tropical weather of Honolulu.
