Multiple reports indicate the University of Idaho plans to return it’s football program to the Big Sky Conference.
Director of Athletics Rob Spear and President Chuck Staben will address the media today (Thursday) where it is believed they will make the announcement and the move will become official.
Idaho moved up from the FCS level to the FBS in 1996. No other FBS football program has ever voluntarily moved down without an NCAA mandate to do so.
